Identifier: CRM TECH 1885-134 Date Constructed: 1958
UTM Zone: 11S, 565631 mE / 3727621 mN
Neighborhood: Sagebrush
Tract: Desert Club Manor TR No 1; Recorded July 31, 1947, MB 22/53
Owner and Address: Robert G. Nard, Nancy L. Nard; 78636 Bottlebrush Drive, La Quinta CA 92253
Updated Description: The 78636 Bottlebrush Drive residence was constructed in 1958 in the Sagebrush neighborhood. The one-
story single family residence was constructed in the Tract Ranch style. The home has a low-pitch cross hip roof with open eaves and
exposed rafters. The roof extends towards the front elevation creating an over veranda supported by square posts. The residence
features one horizontal sliding window and one large sliding-fixed-sliding window at the front elevation. The residence has an
attached garage. There does not appear to have been any alterations to the residence since the previous survey.
Updated Significance: A prior survey evaluated the property as status code 6Z - found ineligible for NRHP, CRHR, and Local
Register designation. The current survey found that the dwelling is associated with the theme of Residential Development (1934-
1970s), but it does not possess individual documented significance in relation to this theme.
The dwelling has not been found individually eligible under NRHP/CRHR/Local Criterion A/1/B, as it has not been associated with
significant events or patterns of events in local, regional, state, or national history; not individually eligible Criterion B/2/B, as it has
not been identified as having an association with an important person; not individually eligible under Criterion C/3/C, as it does not
embody the distinctive characteristics of a type, period, or method of construction; and not individually eligible under Criterion
D/4/D, as further study of the dwelling would not appear to yield information which could be considered important in local, regional,
state, or national history. Additionally, the property was not found to be individually eligible under Local Register Criterion A, as it
was not found to exemplify a special element of the City of La Quinta. As the dwelling has not been substantially altered, this
dwelling maintains integrity from the historic period.
