Updated Description: The 46130 Dune Palms Road residence was constructed by 1948 in the Contemporary style. The property
was initially recorded by CRM Tech in 2006. It was demolished between 2009 and 2010. The property remained vacant until the La
Quinta X Park, a large municipal skate park, replaced the dwelling in 2021.
Updated Significance: A prior survey evaluated the property as status code 6Z - found ineligible for NRHP, CRHR, and Local
Register designation. The dwelling on the property was initially recorded in 2006 by CRM Tech. It was fully demolished by 2010 and
subsequently replaced in ca. 2021 with a municipal skate park. The historic resource is no longer extant. As such, the property is not
eligible for inclusion in the NRHP, CRHR, or Local Register.

setting, and boundaries) This one-story, Modern-style single-family residence faces
west from the east side of Dune Palms Road. The wood-framed, rectangular
residence is topped by a low-pitched, flat roof plus a half-story shed roof
covered with flat tiles. Open eaves with fascia boards shelter walls sheathed
in stucco, brick, and plywood sheets, and a painted brick, end wall chimney
with a stuccoed top is found on the south elevation. Fenestration (Continued

*P3a. Description (continued): consists of wood-framed, double-hung and fixed windows, and
an open veranda supported by three brick columns is found on the asymmetrical
façade. A stuccoed wall crowned with wrought iron and punctuated with brick
columns surrounds the front yard, and to the north, a stuccoed enclosure on
the north end of the façade appears to be a former carport.
