CONSENT CALENDAR:_____ STUDY SESSION: DEPARTMENT REPORTS: BACKGROUND: In April of this year, the Redevelopment Agency approved a Disposition and Development Agreement DDA) between the Agency and WES Development Company. The purpose of the DDA was to cause the construction of up to 40 single family dwellings in the Cove which would be affordable to very low, low, and moderate income households. The dwellings would be owner-occupied, and would remain affordable to said households for a minimum of 40 years. WES Development desires to construct the first phase of this development which would consist of two model homes and three for-sale units. Prior to proceeding, the DDA requires that WES Development must gain Agency approval of the following items: Evidence of financing commitments; and, Site plans for this phase.
