MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 18, 2001
A regular meeting of the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency was called to order by
Chairperson Henderson.
PRESENT: Board Members Adolph, Pe~a, Perkins, Sniff, Chairperson Henderson
ABSENT: None
PUBLIC COMMENT- None
CLOSED SESSION
1. Pending litigation - Government Code Section 54956.9(a) - City of Orange et
al., V. San Diego County Employees Retirement Association, Ventura County
Case No. SC025999.
2. Conference with City's real property negotiator, Jerry Herman, pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.8 concerning potential terms and conditions
--- of acquisition and/or disposition of real property generally located at the
northwest corner of Jefferson Street and Avenue 48 regarding an Affordable
Housing Agreement. Property Owner/Negotiator: DC and TC LLC - Michael
Shovlin.
3. Conference with Agency's real property negotiator, Mark Weiss, pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.8 concerning potential terms and conditions
of acquisition and/or disposition of real property generally located on the
northwest corner of Highway 111 and Washington Street. Property
Owner/Negotiator: Madison Development.
The Agency recessed to Closed Session to and until the hour of 3:00 pm.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION - It was moved by Board Members Adolph/Sniff to approve the Minutes of
August 21, 2001, as submitted. Motion carried unanimously.
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. APPROVAL OF DEMAND REGISTER DATED SEPTEMBER 4, 2001, AND
SEPTEMBER 18, 2001.
2. TRANSMITTAL OF THE TREASURER'S REPORT DATED JULY 31, 2001.
3. TRANSMITTAL OF THE REVENUE & EXPENDITURES REPORT DATED JULY 31,
2001.
MOTION -It was moved by Board Members Sniff/Adolph to approve the
Consent Calendar as recommended. Motion carried unanimously.

PUBLIC HEARINGS - None
The Agency recessed to Closed Session as delineated on Page 1.
The Agency reconvened and the City Attorney announced the City Council has
authorized entering into a settlement agreement regarding Closed Session Item No. 1
and that the document will be available for inspection in the City Clerk's Office after
execution.
