RE: Business License Application - Ray's Lawn Mower Repair
Dear Mr. Morales:
Please be advised that the proposed lawn mower repair business in your hone
is approved in accordance with the conditions and criteria of the City of
La Quinta Herne Occupation Code. It is important to emphasize that this hone
occupation permit shall be periodically reviewed for code compliance. This
approval may be revoked at any time if it is determined that your operation
• is not in ccopliance with zoning regulations (a copy of which is attached)
and with the enclosed conditions.
Due to the nature of this business, the following conditions shall be strictly
adhered to:

1. All work associated with this hare occupation shall be done within an
enclosed area.
2. Garage space may be used for the conduct of this home occupation only
when it does not interfere with the parking of your vehicles off the
street.
3. No equipment, machinery, supplies, or materials shall be stored outside
(in view of the neighborhood/public).
4. No more than a ane -day's supply of hazardous materials shall be stored
on the premises at any given time. These materials include gasoline,
oil, and other substances associated with your lawn mower repair service.
5. Hours of work shall be limited to 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
6. Lawn nnAers and other associated equipment shall be operated within an
enclosed building. Noise generated frau this equipment shall not be
detected from outside the building (please keep the garage door closed).

7. No custamers or clients shall come to the dwelling unit for service. All
equipment for repairs, etc., shall be picked up from and delivered to the
custcmer.
8. If it is found that your home occupation creates a nuisance such as noise,
odor, dust, vibration, fumes, smoke, electrical interference, traffic or
other impacts onto the neighborhood, your business license shall be revoked
and operation ceased.
