RE: Architectural Variance Submittal — Spa & Decking
Dear Ms. Price,
The Architectural Committee has received and reviewed your resubmittal for a proposed
spa and new decking.
The revised outside limit of 16 feet 8 inches. as shown on the Rembrandt Pool sheet dated
April 29, 2008, is approved for the spa and deck.
The following stipulations and requirements must be incorporated into the implementation
of the scope of this work.
1. Provide a copy of the City of La Quinta permit.
2. The homeowner and the. contractor to contact Bill Bobbitt, the Landscape/Irrigation
Manager, and William Aceves, the Maintenance/Lighting Manager, prior to
starting the work to schedule a meeting at the site.
3. The. contractor cannot use the street to stockpile any construction material or
construction debris; all areas are to be kept cleaned, including the street. No
concrete washout in the street gutter.
4. Any electrical wiring exposed during construction must be reported to the HOA.
Contractor to install a 2 -inch PVC conduit that covers the entire length of the
proposed construction for any future common area lighting modification.
5. All electrical, irrigation,, landscape and hardscape damaged during construction
must be repaired or replaced at the owner's expense to the satisfaction of the
.Association managers.
6. Existing irrigation and lighting systems to be relocated by HOA approved
contractor at owner's expense.
7. New concrete slab to be '/2 inch below existing stucco weep screed.
We reserve the right to make a final inspection of this change to make sure that it matches
the original request. An approval is based only on the aesthetics of your proposed plan and

should not be taken as any certification as to the construction worthiness or structural
integrity of the proposed change.
