Specifically, a fireplace has been added which de'minishes'the: length of shear wall "A°. The only usable length .ofjwall is now only 14'-0° at the rear of the living/dining area. It's tributary V is now 3,850 lbs., .the shear, V,. per lineal foot is 275p#. and -the ove turning is 2,048 lbs. As a result of all of this the wall construction will have to .be upgraded'to a`wall construction type "2" which was formally not used 'for this particular plan. `This wall type calles,for edge nailing of 8d at 4° o.c. and 578° diameter x 10" anchor bolts at 32" o.c.
