At the time-of the sub- mission of the original plans,I had decided to build the back patio after the house was finished so that I could ` get-a better perspective on the actual size. My house is now completed and I now want to proceed with the patio cover. The footings for the patio-were poured at the time the patio slab was poured. I enclose mFy plan for the•patio cover which I would like to get started as soon as possible. - Since the patio cover was always considered as part of the original house plans, I assume that- the permit fee WillLbl e waived as were the house permit fees. As a final comment, may I say what a pleasure it was deal- ing with the constuction staff at the City of La Quinta during the construction of my house.
