ordinances of the city or any of the uniform codes adopted
by the city including the Uniform Building Code, Uniform

firecode, health code and Uniform Housing Code.
Violation Corrective Action
Immediate action must be taken to correct the violation.
Violation Description
UFC 505.1 New and existing buildings shall have approved
address numbers, building numbers or approved building
identification placed in a position that is plainly legible
and visible from the street or road fronting the property.
The numbers shall contrast with their background. Address
numbers shall be Arabic numerals or alphabet letters.
Numbers shall be. a minimum of 4 inches (IO2mm) high with a

10.08.060: As a condition for the issuance of a license, all '
applicants for the license shall procure and deliver to the
licensing authority a certificate issued by a duly licensed
veterinarian certifying that the dog to be licensed has been
administered an anti -rabies vaccination within thirty days
prior to the issuance of the license, or has received
anti -rabies vaccination sufficient to immunize the dog
against rabies for the license period applied for.

violating, or failing to comply with, any of the provisions
of this title or a code adopted in this title is guilty of
a separate offense for each and every day or portion
thereof during which any violation of any of the provisions
of this title or such code is committed, continued or
permitted, and upon conviction of any such violation, such
person shall be punishable by a fine of not more than five
hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than six
months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. The
application of the penalty provided in this section shall
not be held to prevent the abatement of prohibited
conditions as a public nuisance as provided by Section
1.01.250 of the La Quinta Municipal Code. (Ord. 68 § 3,

For your protection you should be aware that as "Owner/Builder" you are the responsible party of record on such a
permit. Building permits are not required to be signed by property owners unless they are personally performing their
