An interview with Mr. Joe Palomino III, President of Palomino Plumbing,JInc.','on"9/26/2000 at
your residence provided the following verbal construction information. The shower was wet',
vented with a 2" ABS waste and "P" trap, from an existing 3" ABS toilet waste linea The water
supply, hot and cold, is supplied from the master lay. Mr. Palomino was advised of the permit
and inspections required to approve the master bath shower construction.
As an inspector I am unable to approve or justify the existence of your master bath shower
construction without observing the required inspections. In conclusion: provide a means for us to
inspect the shower for compliance; or remove the shower, and restore the bathroom to its former'
. state:'or'disclose the shower -to the buyei'and'let the buyer decide if they want in -inherit the un=
permitted shower installation.

Mr. & Mrs. Storey came in on Thursday morning to tell us that they were selling their
home in PGA West (54-940 Riviera). Unfortunately, they had -a shower installed and
didn't know that a permit was required. Now they want to resolve the issue so their house
can sell.
I explained their options: provide a means for us to inspect for compliance; remove the
shower and restore the bathroom to its former state; or disclose it to the buyer and let the
buyer decide if he wants to inherit the problem.
At Tom Hartung's direction, we issued a special inspection permit so that you could visit
the site to determine if you could verify compliance with the bathroom in its current
condition. If you're unable to verify compliance, please let the customer know what
documentation and/or demolition would be required for us to approve this installation.
Since you were gone, I asked Mr. Storey if he could wait until Tuesday the 26`h to have
you go out to inspect. Please contact Mr. Storey on Monday at 771-5458 to arrange a
time to meet him that is mutually convenient for you. He plans to arrange to have his
plumbing contractor, Palomino Plumbing, attend the meeting as well.
I made no promises for you to keep regarding acceptance of this unpermitted shower. See
me if you have questions.
