Their desire is for KSL to finish, final and close the main house on or before December 31, 1997, and leave the guest house in its current unfinished state. They would then finish the guest house concurrently with the construction of the expansion, which is scheduled to occur immediately after the close of escrow. Construction of the guest house expansion will not be done by KSL Development Corporation, and KSL disassociates itself from that portion of the permit. It is hereby agreed that the City of La Quinta final sign-off/Certificate of Occupancy is dependent upon and shall not be granted unless the guest house expansion plans have been plan checked and .permits issued.
