Paving, which are being joined or matched in connection with this project, shall be joined or matched in a manner satisfactory to the City Engineer, including necessary saw cutting, removal, replacement and capping. 3) A "tack coat" (paint binder) shall be applied between pavement .layers, concrete surf aces and on existing pavement to be resurfaced at the rate of 0.10 gal./yd. The tack coat shall be Type SSl asphaltic emulsion with a 60-70 grade liquid .asphalt. 4) The viscosity grade of paving asphalt shall be AR-4000 or AR-8000, to be determined by the City Engineer at the time of paving. S) The final or surf ace layer of asphalt concrete shall not be placed until all on -site improvements have been completed, including all earthwork grading. 6) .Manholes and valve box frames shall be adjusted to finished grades after completion of construction. 7) Any existing travelways in which excavation is made in conjunction with this project shall be covered by a separate permit.
