BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
7 of Riverside, State of California, in regular session assembled on
8 July 26, 1983, that:

a. The city of La Ql.Jinta shall assume the respon-
sibility for all general municipal services to the areas
to be a.nnexed as are required by law or presently
provided throughout the city, and for such service
assumption shall receive 25% of that portion of the
property tax revenue generated within the territories
annexed under the a.d valorem tax rate established by
Article XIII A of the constitution of the State of

Cë.lifornia, that represents the County of Riverside's

share of such property tax revenue. This resolution
shall constitute a master property tax transfer agree-

property taxes between the City of La Quinta and the
County of Riverside as provided by Revenue and Taxation
Code Section 99(d).
b. The County Auditor shall upon annexation by the
City convert the above-established percentage figures
into actual dollar figures and thereafter allocate such
property tax revenue in accord with the provisions of
Section 95 et seq. of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
3. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside
10 hereby agrees to the above-recited exchange of property tax revenue.
1.1 4. The Clerk of this Board shall transmit a certified
12 copy of this resolution to each affected agency, to the Executive
13 Offi.cer of the Local Agency Formation Commission, and to the Auditor

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF
PROPERTY TAX REVENUE TO BE EXCHANGED BETWEEN THE
COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE AND THE CITY OF LA QUINTA
RELATING TO ANNEXA~IONS TO THE CITY OF LA QUINTA,
CALIFORNIA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of La o.Quinta,
California, in regular session assembled on this 7th day of June
1983, that:
1. The County of Riverside and the City of La Quinta are the
agencies whose area or responsibility for service would be affected
by annexations to the City of La Quinta.
2. Representatives of each of the affected agencies have met
and negotiated an exchange of property tax revenue as follows, to
become effective for tax purposes beginning July 1, 1983, for all
areas annexed to the City until such time as this resolution is
rescinded or superseded.
A. The City of La Quinta shall assume responsibility for
all general municipal services to areas annexed as are required
by law or presently provided throughout the City, and for such
service, the City shall receive not less than 25% of that portion
of the property tax revenue generated within territories annexed
under the ad valorem tax rate established by Article XIII A of
the Constitution of the State of California, that represents the
County of Riverside's share of such property tax revenue.
B. The County Auditor shall upon annexatiQn by the City
convert the above-established percentage figure into actual
° dollar figures and thereafter allocate to the City such property
tax revenue in accord with the provisions of Sectíon 95 et. seq.
of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
3. The City Council of the City of La Quinta does hereby agree
to the above-recited exchange of property tax revenue.
4. The Clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this resolution
to each affected agency and to the Executive Officer of the Local
Agency Formation Commission and to the Auditor of the County of
Riverside pursuant to Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
