Updated Description: The subject property was constructed in 1959 in the La Quinta Cove neighborhood. CRM Tech described
the property as a Ranch style single-family residence in 2006. Urbana staff conclude that residence more specifically displays the
characteristics of a Tract Ranch style residential property. The one story residence has an "L" shaped form. The building has a low
pitched cross gable roof with exposed rafters. The front elevation features one horizontal sliding window and a large window box.
The residence has an attached garage with a gable roof with a thick support beam at the center gable. The garage and front door
have been painted blue since the previous survey. The window box at the front elevation may be a recent alteration as it was not
mentioned in the previous survey.
Updated Significance: A prior survey evaluated the property as status code 6Z - found ineligible for NRHP, CRHR, and Local
Register designation. The current survey found that the dwelling is associated with the theme of Residential Development (1934-
1970s), but it does not possess individual documented significance in relation to this theme. While the dwelling is located within the
proposed La Quinta Cove Historic District, it is a non-contributor due to its architectural style and date of construction.
The dwelling has not been found individually eligible under NRHP/CRHR/Local Criterion A/1/B, as it has not been associated with
significant events or patterns of events in local, regional, state, or national history; not individually eligible Criterion B/2/B, as it has
not been identified as having an association with an important person; not individually eligible under Criterion C/3/C, as it does not
embody the distinctive characteristics of a type, period, or method of construction; and not individually eligible under Criterion
D/4/D, as further study of the dwelling would not appear to yield information which could be considered important in local, regional,
state, or national history. Additionally, the property was not found to be individually eligible under Local Register Criterion A, as it
was not found to exemplify a special element of the City of La Quinta. Due to limited visibility during the current survey, the integrity
of the dwelling could not be determined.

east from the west side of Avenida Juarez. The wood-framed, L-shaped
residence is topped with a low-pitched, cross-gabled roof covered with asphalt
and gravel, and wide, open eaves with exposed rafters and fascia boards
shelter walls sheathed in stucco. Fenestration consists of aluminum-framed,
