CALL TO ORDER
A regular meeting of the La Quinta Community Services Commission was called to
order at 5:30 p.m. by Vice -Chair Chiapperini.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Commissioners Quill, Van Horn and Vice -Chair Chiapperini
ABSENT: Commissioner Marley

BUSINESS SESSION (MOTION REQUIRED)
1. ELECT A CHAIRPERSON
MOTION - A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners Quill/Van Horn to
appoint Commissioner Chiapperini as Chairperson. Motion passed unanimously.
2. ELECT A VICE -CHAIRPERSON
MOTION - A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners Chiapperini/Van Horn
to appoint Commissioner Quill as Vice -Chairperson. Motion passed unanimously.
CONSENT CALENDAR (MOTION REQUIRED)
1. APPROVE MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2017
There was a consensus among commissioners present to postpone approval of the
September 11, 2017 Community Services Commission minutes to the next meeting.
COMMISSIONER'S ITEMS
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, it was moved and seconded by Commissioners
Quill/Chiapperini to adjourn the meeting at 6:47 p.m. Motion passed unanimously.
