SUBJECT: MINOR USE PERMIT 2016-0011
COMPLETENESS REVIEW: T -MOBILE
Dear Ms. Shih:
•
On July 27, 2016, the Design and Development Department received the above-mentioned
application for modifications to an existing telecommunication facility located at 81600 58`h
Avenue.
The first step in the City's development application review process is to determine if your
application meets the minimum requirements for processing. In review of your application, it
is determined that your application, as submitted, is incomplete and cannot be accepted for
processing until the following items are submitted and determined adequate for review:
❑ Project information and justification letter
o Including project location, contact information, a project description
and project objectives, alternative site analysis, justification for why
the proposed site was chosen over existing sites and a benefits
summary on how the proposed site will improve wireless
telecommunication access in the community.
Once the outstanding items are received and determined to be acceptable for processing, you
will receive a letter of completeness and your application will move to the second step in the
City's application review process, the distribution to appropriate City departments for review
and comment. Upon final review, your application will move to the third and final step in the
application process, which is an administrative decision on the project.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (760) 777-7069.
Sincerely,
Z/r /-

TheAviat ODU 600 is the first radioto be equipped with Flexible Power Mode (FPM)
which delivers software -selectable base or high power modes of operation in the
same unit. This a(tows operators to optimize costs AND performance. With FPM,
operators can deploys standard power radio initially;and upgrad eto high power
(licensed -based) only when needed, thereby reducing initial CAPEX spending. The
li°M-ar1k^ sr:^7-n-n} s ail;ygJs-,halax (le-xdhfe;Omu.er solution also heips streamline
OPEX, with acute benefits for sparing and inventory mare gem and. The overal(im-
pact is a tower total cost of ownership.
The Aviat ODU 600delivers best-in-cla ss output transmit. power across multiple
frequencies, making it a highly attractive and competitive platform that builds on
AviatNetworks ongoing radio innovation leadership.: Increased power provides.
the flexibility to adjust for: inrsea sed availability, throughput and/or distance. This
performance translates directly into reduced antenna sizes, thereby driving down
equipment capexand the apex contribution of tower leasing and maintenance.
