Dear Community Development Department:
M7
Please allow this letter to serve as a permit request for a temporary 24 foot x 60 foot
trailer to be installed on the grounds of The Citrus Club at La Quinta Resort & Club, 50-
503 Mandarina, La Quinta, 92253 on June 30, 1997.
The facility will be located near the front entrance of the clubhouse and will house two
full-time employees of The Lexus Challenge Hosted by Raymond Floyd, as well as a few"
temporary employees in November and December. The color of the trailer will match that
of the clubhouse so as not to interfere with the look of the grounds.
Increased traffic is not a concern of KSL nor The Lexus Challenge, as the trailer will not
be used as a public outlet for ticket sales or event information until the week of the event.
In addition, 7-10 parking spaces will be available for The Lexus Challenge's use directly in
front of the proposed location.
The Lexus Challenge will work directly with KSL and local contractors to ensure the
proper precautions are taken regarding phone and electrical needs. KSL will also allow
The Lexus Challenge staff to use the restroom facilities within the clubhouse.
For your records, we have included additional information on the proposed trailer
including floorplans and a brochure from the manufacturer.
Thank you in advance for your consideration. Please call me with any questions at (760)

RE: Minor Use Permit 97-017 (Trailer)
Dear Greg:
This letter serves as means of follow up regarding the removal of the old trailer located at
50-503 Mandarina at the Citrus Course of La Quinta Resort & Club. In your letter
regarding our permit, you requested that we submit information as to how the area will be
treated after the removal of the trailer. For your information , since the land is part of the
Citrus Club the area will be re -grassed by the Golf Course Superintendent along with new
irrigation to the area. KSL will begin this work very soon. The area has been cleaned and
any small debris has been removed. For your records the area we are talking about is very
small, approximately 12' x 60' and is already in good condition.
Should you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to
contact me.
