❑ Filing fee for Minor Use Permit. If filing multiple applications, the most expensive application will be
charged full fee, with remaining related applications discounted 50% for each. This discount does not apply
to Environmental Information form.

The Community Development Department hereby approves your request to hold a car
wash on June 10, 2000, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., adjacent to the Home Depot Garden
Center, at 79900 Highway 111, pursuant to Section 9.100.080 of the Zoning Ordinance,
subject to the following conditions being met. -

1. No temporary structures are permitted unless separately approved prior to
installation by the La Quinta Building and Safety Department and Riverside County
Fire Department (Planning and Engineering). They can be reached by calling 863-
8886. Additional information and requirements from the Fire Department are
attached.
2. The premises shall be cleared of all debris and restored to the condition existing
prior to the car wash.
3. No main aisles leading into the parking lot shall be blocked by the car wash
activities.
4. By holding the outdoor event, the applicant: agrees to indemnify, defend and hold
harmless the City of La Quinta in the event of any legal claim or litigation arising out
of the City's approval of this project. The City of La Quinta shall have the right to
select its defense counsel at its sole discretion.
The City may elect to add Conditions to this application request to mitigate any problems
that arise not previously addressed herein.
This decision may be appealed to the Planning Commission. Please contact our office
should you desire assistance with your request.
