The Community Development Department hereby approves your application request
to install a perimeter fence along Avenue 50 and Eisenhower Drive for APN 773-022-
021, subject to the following conditions:
1. The permit is valid for two years, expiring on November 9, 2002. A time
extension can be granted for an additional year pursuant to Section 9.200.080
of the LQMC.
2. Lighting of the site is not permitted under this permit.
3. Chain link fencing will be installed having a maximum height of six feet. A
colored mesh screening material shall be installed on the entire length of the
fencing. Barbed wire, razor wire or similar materials in or on the fence is
prohibited per Section 9.100.030 of the LQMC. The fence cannot be installed
in the street right-of-way.
4. The applicant will indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City of La Quinta in
case of any legal claim or litigation arising out of the City's approval of this
project. The City of La Quinta will have the right to select its defense counsel
at its sole discretion.
The City may elect to add Conditions to this application request to mitigate any
problems that arise not previously addressed herein.

obtained from this Department. The appeal form must be completed and filled with
the required processing fee within 15 calendar days from the date of this letter.
