SUBJECT: MINOR USE PERMIT 2003-407
Dear Mr. Wissman:
The Community Development Department hereby approves your request.to establish
a construction storage bin at 52-680 and 52-700 Avenida Velasco (APN 774-295-010
and 773-295-011) pursuant to Section 9..60.210 of the Municipal Code, subject to the
following conditions:
1. Mounted on the exterior of the storage bin shall be a written notice providing
emergency personnel your 24-hour emergency phone number they can call in
case problems arise that need your prompt attention (i.e., minimum 1 " high
letters).
2. Install one 2A10BC fire extinguisher inside the front exit door of the trailer.
3. The City may elect to add conditions to this application request to mitigate any
problems that arise and are not previously addressed herein.
4. The applicant agrees. to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the City of La
Quinta in the event of any legal claim or litigation arising out of the City's
approval of this permit. The City of La Quinta shall have the right to select its
defense counsel in its sole discretion.
5. The trailer shall be removed within 12 months, or by April 30, 2004, unless the
Community Development Director grants an extension.

This decision may be appealed to the Planning Commission provided the necessary
paperwork and filing fee of $175.00 are filed with this office within 15 days.
