Subject: Amendment to Minor Use Permit 2003-409 (Temporary Trailer)
Dear Ms. Maddox:
The Community Development Department has approved your request to relocate a
temporary construction trailer (12' x 42') to 44-735'/2 Via Rosa in Tract 30521 in La
Quinta Del Oro, subject to the enclosed plan and the following conditions:
1 . Approval shall expire upon completion of the project.
2. Obtain a building permit including an electrical permit for temporary power.
3. Trailer shall have restroom facilities to accommodate personnel.
4. Mounted on the exterior of the trailer close to the front door shall be a written
notice providing emergency personnel your 24-hour emergency phone number
they can call in case problems arise that need your prompt attention (i.e.,
minimum 1 " high letters).
5. Install one 2A1OBC fire extinguisher inside the trailer by the front exit door.
6. The parking area shall be paved with gravel or other approved surface and
comply with Municipal Code requirements.
7. Any permits required by the Public Works Department shall be obtained prior to
any work proceeding.
8. The City may elect to add Conditions to this application to mitigate any
problems that arise not previously addressed herein.

9. Developer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City. of La Quinta
in the event of any legal claim or litigation arising out of the City s approval of
this project. The City of La Quinta shall have the right to select its defense
counsel in its sole discretion.

paperwork and filing fee of $175.00 are filed with this office within 15 days.

8. Landscaping with an irrigation system shall be provided in conformance with
Municipal Code requirements. Landscaping plan shall be approved by the

We would like to use our temporary sales trailer for a temporary construction trailer. The
trailer would continue to go by the same conditions as set forth for the sales trailer in
your letter of May 13, 2003. The trailer will be moved to a new location at the back end
of Lot 23 next to the green belt vritb access from Via Venice Street. The address will be
44-540-1.12 Via Venice. I am attaching.a location map for your reference.
We would like to keep the sante minor use permit for this trailer with the address change
as noted above. Please let me know if this meets with the City's approval. I can be
