FILING FEES
Filing Fees are to be paid at the time of application. As part of the submittal process you will be
asked to pay your fees at the Finance Department counter and return to the Planning Department
counter with the receipt showing payment of fees which will be copied and submitted along with
the other application materials. Additional environmental review related fees (if any) will be
determined and payable at the time the application is determined complete.

Statement of Operations: The statement of operations portion (Section B) of the application
describing various operational aspects of the proposed use shall be completed.

Site Photographs: Provide one aerial view, at least one panoramic view of each side of the site,
and specific views of any relevant or unusual features of the site. Printed images shall be at least
4"x6" and printed in color on 8'/2"x11" sheets.

PLAN SET
Plan Set: A complete Plan Set shall contain one copy of each required sheet, map or plan in the
order listed below, stapled together in the order prescribed as a comprehensive set, and folded so
that the folded size does not exceed 9"x12", rolled plans will not be accepted. All
maps/plans/sheets shall be drawn on uniform sheets no greater than 24"x36" (or as approved by
the Planning Department prior to initial submittal). Each sheet shall be drawn clear and legible, be
accurately scaled, fully dimensioned, drawn at the same scale unless otherwise instructed, and
include all the information as described in this section for each particular item.

The Community Development Department has reviewed and approved your request
for a temporary storage container located at 53-740 Avenida Martinez, subject to
the exhibits on file and the following Conditions of Approval:
1. The applicant/property owner agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold
harmless the City of La Quinta (the "City"), it's agents, officers and
employees from any claim, or litigation arising out of the City's approval of
this project. This indemnification shall include any award toward attorney's
fees. The City of La Quinta shall have the right to select its defense counsel
in its sole discretion. The City of La Quinta shall promptly notify he applicant
of any claim, action, or proceeding and shall cooperate fully in the defense.
The applicant shall comply with all provisions of the La Quinta Municipal
Code (LQMC).
2. The container can remain on-site for a 30 -day period. Unless there is
evidence of an extreme extenuating circumstance, the Community
Development Department may or may not grant an extension for this
application. The storage container shall be removed from the site prior to
September 28, 2014.
3. In order to mitigate potential noise impacts on the surrounding neighborhood,
loading and unloading of the storage container shall only be permitted
between 7:00am and 8:00pm.

4. The storage container shall be placed in the driveway of the subject
property. The storage container may not be located on the street or on the
front lawn.
5. The storage container shall comply with La Quinta Municipal Code Section
9.60.050 Storage and Other Accessory Buildings, and shall comply with La
Quinta Municipal Code Section 9.60.210 Construction and Guard Offices.
6. The storage container shall be immediately removed by the authorized
disposal service at the applicants expense if any noxious or nuisance odors
are found to emanate from the container.
7. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that refuse stays within the
container by use of a tarp or netting under windy or other adverse weather
conditions.
8. Approval of this Minor Use Permit application will not result in conditions
detrimental to public health, safety and general welfare, nor injurious to or
incompatible with other properties and uses in the vicinity.
The City may elect to add Conditions to this application request to mitigate any
problems that arise not previously addressed herein.
This decision may be appealed to the Planning Commission by anyone provided
they submit the necessary paperwork and filing fee of $175.00 to this office within
15 days of approval of this permit.
