Dear Sir:
Thank.you for the application for Certificate of Parcel Merger
received by this office. However, before the application
procedure can be completed, the application form requires a
signature and a new Grant Deed (prepared by a Title Company) is
required.
When preparing the new Grant Deed, please ensure. the legal
description of the property reads as follows:
"Lots 20 and 21 of Block 201, Unit No. 19 of Santa
Carmelita at Vale La Quinta, as per map recorded in Book
19, Pages 33 and 34, of Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said Riverside County."
Please also record the following on the new Grant Deed:
"This Deed reflects Parcel Merger No. 88-058 as approved
by the City of La Quinta."
Once the Application form is completely filled out and the new
Grant Deed is ready, please forward both of these items to this
office. The City can then approve the Certificate of Merger
application and request the County Recorder's office to record
the merger.
