This letter is to report approval of your recent application
for a setback adjustment, pursuant to Chapter 9.188 of the City
of La Quinta Planning & Zoning Regulations. The following
setback adjustment has been approved subject to conditions and
in accordance with attached Exhibit A.'
SETBACK ADJUSTMENT:
Rear setback reduced from 10 feet to 8 feet for vertical
posts. 1. •
FOR:
Patio Cover (17-feet x 15-feet)
CONDITIONS:
1.
That the patio vertical
supports shall not be
located
less than eight feet from
your rear yard property
line.
2.
That the structure shall
be built to Uniform
Building
Code specifications.

3.
A building permit -shall
be obtained from the
Building
Department.
4. That the overhead projection for the trellis cover shall
not be less than six feet from the rear yard property
line.
After review it was.determined that:
1. This adjustment is consistent with the intent and
purpose of the zoning ordinance'.

topography, location or surroundings that justify
