This letter is to report -approval of your recent application
for a setback adjustment, pursuant to Chapter 9.188 of the City
of La Quinta Planning & Zoning Regulations. The following
setback adjustment has been approved subject to conditions and
in accordance with attached Exhibit A.
SETBACK ADJUSTMENT:
Front and side setback of-5-feet reduced to 3-feet.
FOR: Swimming Pool
CONDITIONS:
1. The Applicant shall comply with.Municipal fencing
requirements.for pools.
2. This setback. adjustment does not apply to
mechanical pool equipment.
3. The applicant has obtained the necessary permission
from IID (Exhibit stamped) -a ' nd GTE (letter
attached) to locate a swimming pol in a utility
easement. The applicant shall comply with all
stipulated agency requirements stated by the above.
After review it was determined that:
1. This adjustment is consistent with the intent and
purpose of the zoning ordinance.
2. There are special circumstances applicable to the
