This letter is to report approval of your recent application fora setback adjustment,
pursuant to Chapter 9.188 of the City of La Quinta Planning and Zoning Regulations.
The following setback adjustment has been approved subject .to conditions and in
accordance_ with attached Exhibit "A".

CONDITIONS:
1. The Applicant shall comply with Municipal Code Fencing requirements for
Pools.

2. Ensure pool is reinforced to Building Code requirements.

3. This setback adjustment does not apply to mechanical pool equipment.
4. GTE requires that a three inch (3-inch) PVC conduit, schedule 40 or better,
be placed within the rear yard easement area. This would facilitate their
accessing the area in the'future, should the need to replace the facilities
arise. This conduit is to be capped off within five feet (5-feet) of the side
property lines, and should be placed at a minimum depth of thirty inches (30-
inches).
After review it was determined that:
