Dear Mr. Ackerson:
This letter is to report approval of your recent application for a G>
setback adjustment, pursuant to Chapter 9.188 of the City of La
Quinta Planning & Zoning Regulations. The following setback
adjustment has been approved subject to conditions and in accordance
with attached Exhibit A.
SETBACK ADJUSTMENT:' Trellis into front yard setback to within
.16-feet of the existing property line.
FOR: Carport attached to the existing single family home

After review it was determined that:

special circumstances are: 1) the existing side yard setbacks
precludes the owner from having an accessory structure in his*
rear yard, and 2) the structure will not affect the
neighborhood because the trellis is over the existing on -site -"-
driveway.
