Dear Mr. Lench:
This letter is to report approval of your recent application for a
setback adjustment, pursuant to Chapter 9.188 of the City of La
Quinta Planning & Zoning Regulations. The following setback
adjustment has been approved subject to conditions and in accordance
with attached Exhibit A.
SETBACK ADJUSTMENT:
Reduction of rear setback from 5-feet to 3-feet
FOR: Pool
CONDITIONS:
1. Obtain a building permit.
2. Pool equipment shall comply with required setbacks (five -feet,
from property line).
3. The fencing requirements of the SR Zoning Code shall be met.,:

GTE requires that a three inch (3-inch) PVC conduit, schedule
40 or better, be placed within the rear yard easement area.
This would facilitate their accessing the area in the future,'
should the need to replace the facilities arise. This conduit'
is to be capped off within five feet (5-feet) of the side
property lines, and should be placed at a minimum depth of
thirty inches (30-inches).
After
review it was determined that:
