Dear Gary:
Your request for setback adjustments for Lots 3, 30, 51, 52, and 53 have been reviewed and
approved by staff pursuant to Chapter 9.188 of the City of La Quinta Zoning Regulations. This
approval is subject to the following Conditions of Approval and in accordance with attached
Exhibits "A", "B", licit, licit, and "E".
SETBACK ADJUSTMENT:
Reduction of side yard setback from 5 feet to 3 feet.
FOR: Swimming pool equipment.
CONDITIONS:
1. Obtain building permits from the Building and Safety Department.
The following findings are consistent with the intent and purpose of the Zoning Ordinance.
1. These adjustments are consistent with the intent and purpose of the Zoning Ordinance.
2. There are special circumstances applicable to the property, including such factors as size,
shape, topography, location or surroundings that justify approval of the adjustments. The
special circumstances in this case are: shape of the lots.
3. These adjustments will not be detrimental to the health, safety, and general welfare of
the community or be detrimental to property in the vicinity of the parcels for which the
adjustments are requested.
