Dear Mr. Lench:
The Community Development Department has reviewed your request for a setback reduction
from five feet to three feet for the proposed swimming pool depicted in Exhibit "A". Your
application has been approved pursuant to Chapter.9.188 of the City of La Quinta Planning
and Zoning Regulations. This approval is subject to the following conditions and in
accordance with the attached Exhibit "A".'
SETBACK ADJUSTMENT:
Reduction of front yard setback from five feet to three feet and sideyard setback from five
feet to four feet six inches.
FOR: Swimming Pool
CONDITIONS:
1. Obtain a building permit for the pool from the Building Department.
2. The fencing requirements of the SR Zone shall be met in conjunction with the State
requirements for pool fencing. .
FINDINGS:
1. This adjustment is consistent with the intent and purpose of the Zoning Ordinance.
2. There are special circumstances applicable to the property, including such factors as
size, shape, topography, location or surroundings that justify approval of the ,
adjustment. These special circumstances are small' size of lot.
