Dear Ms. Merchant,
The Architectural Committee has reviewed your request to add an Alumawood shade structure
(14 feet 0 inches by 10 feet 0 inches overall size). The installation is approved with the following
standard requirements:
1. The installation to comply with the five-sheet guidelines.
2. The installation to comply with "Commercial" specifications as shown in the Anierinzax
Building Products, Inc. ICBG report No. ER-2621P.
3. All penetrations and attachments to be caulked with elaS toimeric caulking at the wall and
coluzxms.
4. The color of the metal finish to try and match the color of the unit.
• 5. The installation to have a City of La Quinta building permit and the signed inspection
card provided upon completion.
6. The contractor and/or homeowner to provide the necessary insurance certificates.
7. The homeowner is required to purchase two signs from the Association to be installed on
the top of the structure. The verbiage on each sign issue,, a warning regarding walking on
the overhang. The signs are available from the Association for a fee of$25.00 each.
8. Homeowner to provide the Association with a refundable security deposit in the amount
of$500.00.
9. Homeowner and contractor to provide signed copy of `Construction Regulations' form.
