Appendix Chapter 31 of the Uniform Building Code' (UBC).
Patio covers utilizing the enclosure system must be capable
of resisting lateral loads imposed on the enclosure system.
Enclosure walls are constructed in accordance with Sheets
No. 1 and 2, and roof panels are constructed in accordance
with Sheet No. 3 of the attached plans, identified as Drawing
No. 230 ICBO, dated August 8, 1997. The patio covers may

lengths, 48 inches (1220 mm) wide and 3 inches (76 mm)
thick. The panels have 0.024 -inch -thick (0.610 mm) alumi-
num facings and a nominal 1.5 pcf (24 kg/m3) polystyrene
foam plastic core, and are manufactured in accordance with
the quality control manual. Sheet No. 3 provides panel details
and allowable spans.
2.3 Identification:
An identification tag attached to each Series 230 Patio Enclo-
sure bears the name and address of the manufacturer, design
loads and evaluation report number (ICBG ES ER -4590P).
Weatherlock II panels are labeled with the manufacturer's
name and address, and the name of the quality control
agency (Southwest Research Institute).
