COMMUNITY SERVICES CONNISSION - CITY OF LA QUINTA
A regular meeting of the Community
Services Commission held at City Hall,
78-105 Calle Estado, La Quinta,
California.
February 24, 1986
7:00 p.m.
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Members present were: Commissioners Beck, DeGasperin,
Jaffy, and Chairman Moran.
Members absent were: Commissioners Griffith, and Pina.
3. COMMUNICATIONS
4. PUBLIC COMMENT
5. COMMITTEE REPORTS
A. Chairman Moran and Commissioner DeGasperin reported
regarding planning for the Latch Key Children program,
to be held at La Quinta City Hall, Saturday, March 29,
1986. Discussion followed among Commission Members.
6. OLD BUSINESS
A. Moved by Chairman Moran, seconded by Commissioner
DeGasperin, to approve the Minutes of December 9, 1985.
Unanimously adopted.
B. Moved by Commissioner Jaffy, seconded by Commissioner
Degasperin, to approve the Minutes of January 27, 1986.
Unanimously adopted.
C. Chairman Moran reported regarding the allocation of
CDBG funds by the City Council.
7. NEW BUSINESS
A. The City Manager reported regarding the League of California
Cities Community Services Conference scheduled for
April 30 to May 2, 1986.
8. ADJOURNMENT
A. Chairman Moran declared the meeting adjourned at 8:33 p.m.
