It was found that a small room addition had been added to the north side of the house. As there is no record of a permit being pulled for this addition it must be assumed that the typical inspections required during the construction process were not conducted. The addition does meet the setback and light and ventilation requirements required by code. There does not appear to be- any obvious structural deficiencies. However, the following ccde.violations were noted: 1. Operable smoke detector needed in hallway. 2. The master bedroom has no egress to public -'..:right-of-way due to the wrought.iron gates on the court yard... 3. The same condition applies tc the bedroom adjacent to the master bedroom.
