TO: COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION
FROM: ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DIRECTOR
SUBJECT: "GOOD CITIZEN AWARD" PROGRAM

As a part of the Cove clean-up campaign, the City Council wished
to see a program initiated by the Community Services Commission
whereby some type of award (certificate, etc.) would be awarded
perhaps monthly to a resident selected by the Commission who has
done an outstanding job of maintaining his property.
I would suggest that a committee be appointed to make
recommendations to the Commission and that the first award be
decided on at the January 30th meeting for presentation at the
February 2nd Mayor's Breakfast. Alternatives would be to make
the presentation at a Commission Meeting or City Council Meeting.
