COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION
MINUTES
June 14, 1993
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Lawrence Best,
followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Commissioners Best, Bernard, Dickens, Francis, Nard,
Seaton
ABSENT:
Chairperson Kennedy
STAFF PRESENT: Clint Bohlen, Parks & Recreation Manager
Patti Devery, Temporary Department Secretary
GUESTS PRESENT: Tim Maloney and Roger Drayer of t i. maloney,
inc., Landscape/Architect consultants
commissioners seaton/Nard moved to excuse the absence of
Chairperson Kennedy. MOTION CARRIED
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
It was MOVED by Commissioners Nard/Bernard that the CSC Minutes of
May 24, 1993 be approved as submitted. MOTION CARRIED.
PUBLIC WORKSHOP FORUM
There being no further agenda business, Commissioner Best
introduced Mr. Bohlen, who welcomed the La Quinta residents in
attendance (list attached) to the Park Royale public workshop
forum.
Mr. Bohlen introduced Messrs. Maloney and Drayer who presented
three renderings of the proposed park and passed out voting ballots
for the attendees to complete.
A discussion of the three renderings followed.

A list of La Quinta residents who attended the Park Royale workshop
is attached.
Messrs. Maloney and Drayer will incorporate the suggestions into
the rendering and present a revised Scheme A at the June 28
meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Commissioners Francis/Nard moved
to ajourn the meeting at 8:45 p.m. MOTION CARRIED.
