COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION MEETING
DATE: June 10, 2002
ITEM TITLE: Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update
RECOMMENDATION:
Begin reviewing the Parks and Recreation Master Plan information and provide staff
with information.
BACKGROUND AND OVERVIEW:
The City's Parks and Recreation Master Plan was adopted in 1995. The document is
currently being updated to reflect the changes in the community since that time and
to provide recommendations for the development of future recreation facilities.
Staff will provide updated information provided by the Consultant, RJM Design Group
at the June 10 meeting, as this information has not been received as of this report.
ALTERNATIVES:
The alternatives available to the Commission are:
1. Begin reviewing the Parks and Recreation Master Plan information and
provide staff with information; or
2. Do not review the Parks and Recreation Master Plan information and
provide staff with information; or
3. Provide staff with alternate direction.
