CALL TO ORDER
19u1ar meeting of the Community Services Commission was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in

CONSENT CALENDAR
A. Approval of Minutes of October 14, 2002
B. Monthly Department Report for September 2002
It was moved by Commissioners Calhoun/Davis to approve the Consent Calendar
corrections made to the minutes. Unanimous.
PUBLIC HEARING - None.
BUSINESS ITEMS
A. Youth Workshop Information
The Commission discussed placing the skate park issue on the next Youth Workshop age
The next meeting will be held on November 21. Participants will be invited to attend the
Community Services Commission meeting on December 9, 2002 to gain input as t(

It was moved by Commissioners Boudreau/Davis to have Commissioners Davis and Calha
attend the next Youth Workshop and to invite skaters to the December 9, 2002 Commissl
meeting. Unanimous.
B. Civic Center Campus Dedication and Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
The Community Services Commission will assist with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony a
Commissioner Calhoun has volunteered to be Santa this year. Marni Francisco will contl
the Commissioners with specific tasks. It was moved by Commissioners Davis/Boudre
that the Commission will assist with the Civic Center Campus Dedication and Annual Tr
Lighting Ceremony. Unanimous.
C. Breakfast with Santa
It was moved by Calhoun/Davis to assist with Breakfast with Santa on December 14, 20(
Unanimous.
CORRESPONDENCE AND WRITTEN MATERIALS
A. Possible Dog Park Locations
Staff gave an overview of the City Council's consideration for a dog park location. Staf1
to measure the Senior Center site, as well as the site at Fritz Burns Park and provide tl
information for City Council consideration.

It was moved by Commissioners Davis/Boudreau to adjourn the Community Servic
Commission meeting. Unanimous. Meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
