Dear Ms. Jung:
I have reviewed the information you sent me concerning
alterations to the grading on your property, as outlined by the
Williams Company. I have, also discussed the situation with Mr.
Larry Campbell of the Williams Company. He.concurred that the
best way to insure that your warranty will remain in effect
after your patio improvements have been installed is to have the
plans approved by the Williams Company prior to the installation
of the improvements. The plans should include size and location
of proposed concrete as well as elevations of the patios and or
sidewalks and the direction that they are designed to drain.

Tom Hartung '

Yesterday we discussed your inspection of the grading in the back
yard at 44-180 Mariposa Court. You indicated that your findings were
that under building code rules, the existing grade and patterns in the
back yard will assure proper drainage in heavy rain or flooding. I
trunk I also understood that proper- drainage would still exist even
even any concrete slab, installation was higher than the floor line,
since the current ground level is higher than the floor line.
You asked me to send you copies of the developer's stipulations that
apply to grading, since we discussed my concern that under the existing
grade conditions.it would'be impossible to comply with them. As you
know I am concerned that*the height of the landings.outside the
sliding glass doors do not provide the four inches of clearance
required by the developer's own stipulations since they 'are closer to
2 1/2 inches below the floor line. And.'they are, in general lower than
the -surrounding ground areas. Lastly I expressed concern that the
current pattern might direct run-off water into the garage side door,
rather than past it and into the street.
Please drop me a line sometime in the next few days describing your
findings and the conditions that currently exist. I am eager to
hear your comments and thank you for your courtesy and diligence.
Yours truly,
Monica Jung t

Heating/Air Conditioning
Your forced air unit will .be ready -for operation on the day
you move in, if you have made prior'arrangements with the gas

Proper operation. In some instances your heater may have an

required to ignite the pilot.' Just-follow.the directions that
.are posted on the furnace.
Forced air units..usually'smoke for A brief -period when they
are first put into .service. This -is due' to dust .particles
inside the heater and the freshness-of'the new paint. -Forced
air units have a filter which requires periodic cleaning or {

Ceilings
Luminous - The translucent panels used in luminous ceiling
fixtures are made of, high impact polystyrene plastica When
cleaning is required remove the panels by pushing them up
slightly above the grid system, tilt and lower. They should
be washed in a 1% or '2°0' solution of mild dishwashing liquid
and water. After washing, dry to prevent water marking.
Caution: Do not use cleaning solvents on plastic panels.
eramic Tile
.Ceramic tile, whether glazed or unglazed will respond very
well to a quick wipe down with a clean, damp cloth or sponge,
if followed by 'a drying rub with a soft cloth.
We suggest you -apply a clear commercial sealer to your
unglazed ceramic tile and grouted areas. This will help
preserve your surface from compounds.that are likely to
stain.
Shower Doors and Enclosures.
The metal used on shower doors is coated""to protect' against
hard water. When cleaning avo d--us-ing_steel wool; abrasive
cleansers or coarse brushes as they will remove the protective
coating.
The doors are not designed to withstand water sprayed'directly
from the shower nozzlr. It is .suggested, therefore; that e
bathmat be placed in front of the door,to absorb any leakage.
