Dear Mr.. Rossworn:
Per our telephone conversation yesterday, the Public .Nuisance mailed on December 7,
2007 that provided twenty-one (21) days to abate the fire hazard and unsightly debris on
parcel 773-271-028 has transpired. We are sending the case to the City contractor to
abate the lot and all the conditions of the Public Nuisance apply.
With regards to the Public Nuisance Case 07-5797 that was appealed before the Planning
Commission on February 12, 2008, the Planning Commission adopted Minute Motion
2008-005, upholding the determination that a Public Nuisance exists at parcel 773-271-
027.
Consequently, the City is providing time to abate the open excavation and abandoned
swimming pool by March 7, 2008. Building & Safety has established these requirements.

excavation and abandoned swimming pool.

Pursuant to our telephone conversation this morning, here is information.that should
help. you with the progress of your construction project on Avenida Martinez.
The existing property consists of Lots 2, 3 & 4, Block 99, Santa Carmelita at Vale -La
Quinta, Unit No. 11. The current Assessor's Parcel Number is 773-271-026. The current
address is 52-333 Avenida Martinez.
understand that your current plan is to demolish the existing house, subdivide the land
into two parcels, and .build a new single family dwelling on the southernmost new parcel.
This subdivision will be accomplished by the recordation of Parcel Map 32377, which will -
create Parcel 1 (the northerly parcel) and Parcel 2 (the southerly parcel).
Per our discussion, we will utilize the existing .address of 52-333 Avenida Martinez for
Parcel 2, and create a new.address of 52-275 Avenida Martinez for Parcel 1.
You are aware that permanent Parcel Numbers are assigned by.the County Assessor's
office. Historically, the assignment of these numbers lags approximately one year -behind
the subdividing of land. Because of this, I must generate temporary parcel numbers for
identification within the City's computer system in order to create building permits for
you. I am assigning the following temporary parcel numbers to your newly created
parcels:

Parcel 2, PM 32377: 773-271-028
These may eventually be the numbers that -the County assigns. If not, we will adjust our
