Subject: S.E. Stamp for Terence J.. Cavanagh, S.E.
Dear Ron:
Please be advised that your FBH plans have Terence J. Cavanagh's S.E. seal which expired
_on.1-2!31/,1-1-This. s 3:comm- on -occurrence as.the FBH plans are renewed..ev_ery_ 3 years
while Mr. Cavanagh's S.E. seal is renewed every 2 years. Please be assured that Mr.
Cavanagh's S.E. license has been renewed and the new expiration date is 12/31/13. It is
our understanding that the FBH- plans are valid documents for the duration of the 3 year
cycle (which is dictated by the State) regardless of the expiration date on the seal for the
_.- Engineer of Record (EOR). Obviously, this assumes the EOR license was valid when the
FBH plan was approved by the State.
I trust this will resolve your issues with California Building Officials regarding Mr.
Cavanagh's expired seal on FBH plans. Please let us know if you have further concerns
regarding this matter.
_ Sincerely, FESS/pN
