GENERAL.DESCRIPTION
• These Category IV, highly efficient, compact
sealed combustion condensing type furnaces
ate -designed for residential and commercial in-
stallations in a basement,, closet, alcove, recrea-
tion room or garage where the ambient !:impera-
lure is 320F., or higher. All use outdoor combus-
tion
ombus tion air. They maybe either side wall or thru-roof
vented using -approved plastic type combustion
air and vent piping. A Vent Termination Kit is re-
quired. All units are factory assembled, wired and
tested to assure dependable and economical in-
stallation and operation.
• Electronic Hot Surface Ignition, saves fuel cost
with increased dependability and, reliability:
a Induced combustion system with- inshot main
burners for quiet, efficient operation, with low
NOx .emissions of 35 nanogramsloule.
100% shut off main gas valve for extra safety,
`Propane units convertible to natural gas (June
1990).
o- PSC—multi-speed, direct-drive'motor'with large,
quiet blower.
• 40 VA control transformer and cooling I;flay Sup-"
plied for add-on cooling.

gers to the original purchaser, 20 -year limited
warranty from original installation date to subse-
quent purchaser(s);-20-year warranty on commer-
cial applications.
• Uses outdoor combustion air to reduce internal
heat. bad and drafts along with reduced poten-
tial for corrosion'caused by contaminated indoor .

This accessory conversion kit may be used to convert
propane (LP) units for natural gas operation. Conversions

Water Heater List -- January 1992
Below is a revised list of certified water heaters that comply with the water heating budgets without additional
calculations and without installing an external R-12 wrap. This list replaces previous lists. NOTE: If you
are using one of the units listed below in your compliance calculations, use the appropriate "Loss
M)" value. For computer programs which cannot a "no R-12 wrap" condition, model the "Adjusted
Loss M." For points compliance and computer programs which can model a water heater without
an R-12 wrap, use "Standby Loss M." Reminder: The water heaters listed below are not the only water
heaters that can be installed in new residential buildings without external insulation. Applicants can use one
of the modeling procedures from Blueprint No. 31 to show overall building compliance (meeting energy budget
or achieving point score of 0).
