By installing this tent, the applicant 'agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City of La Quinta, its agents, officers, and employees from any claim, action, or proceeding to attack, set aside, void, or annul the, approval of this Temporary Use Permit: The City of La Quinta shall have the 'right to select.its"defense counsel at its sole , discretion. The City of La Quinta shall promptly notify the applicant of'any, claim, action, orproceeding and shall cooperate fully in the defense: 2. The applicant shall comply ,with all. provisions of the La Quinta Municipal Code (LOMC). 3. Permits for the tent shall be, obtained prior to installation. Prior to set-up, please contact the La Quinta Building & Safety Department and Riverside'County,fire Safety at (760)863-8886 for any additional requirements of the Fire Marshal. Fire lanes shall be established and/or maintained as longus the tent is up. 4. Portable generators shall be shielded to prevent' accidental contact with, guests: Extension cords shall be ground-secured to prevent tripping..Any lighting shall be directed away from surrounding residential properties. No spot or searchlights are permitted.. u t,i, 5. All temporary electrical wiring shall be secured to prevent physical hazards to the public and participants. Wiring/cords shall not be subjected to environmental or physical damage. .6. Al temporary outdoor lighting shall comply with Section 9.100.150 of.the Zoning Ordinance. All temporary lighting shall be turned off within one hour of the closing of the storage facility. The use of spotlights, searchlights, or other such aerial illumination devices is prohibited, as per City Ordinance. 7. Roadways/traffic aisles to structures and activities in and around the tent shall be maintained accessible to emergency vehicles at all. times. If used, parking monitors shall wear light-colored clothing and reflective vests as needed. Flash lights shall be used after dusk. 8. The tent location shall not deviate from the portion of the site identified in the attached site plan. 9. If any, ground excavations are required, please contact Underground Service Alert (USA) at 1-800-227-2600 or 1-800-422-4133. This service is free of charge provided USA is given two days notice prior to commencement of work. 10. This permit for the golf cart storage facility shall expire one`year from the hate you receive your building permit, unless a time extension is applied for and granted by this Department. The Community Development Director may extend the permit for a set time period if needed. 'No fee:: is required to extend this permit. The City may elect to, add Conditions to this application request to. mitigate any problems that arise not previously addressed herein.
