This letter is to request a refund on permit cost paid sum)unding a guest house as part of
a new residential construction project for 51-030 Avenida Carranza in the La Quinta
Cove. Due to an unknown water line directly underneath the future location of the guest
house, it is not prudent to build the casita at this time.
In addition, I am requesting a letter that can be given to the Desert Sands Unified School
District for a refund of school fees paid for square footage on the guest house that will
not be built at this time.
Also, it is imperative that the county tax assessors office be formally informed by the
City of La Quinta that the guest house is not under construction and should not be figured
as square footage for tax roll purposes.
