Module
How It Works
The OL -100 is designed to operate auto-
matically so that the system runs only when
solar energy is available. This Module circu-
lates household water directly between the
solar tank and the solar collectors when suf-
ficient energy is available. This process is
repeated over and over and the net result
is a storage tank of solar heated water
ready for use.
If outdoor temperatures drop near freezing
the Module will automatically circulate warm
water to the solar collectors to prevent pos-
sible freeze damage. In areas which experience
frequent freezing temperatures, use of the
Grumman CF -100A Closed Loop Module is
recommended.
