RE: Architectural Approval - Atrium Cover
Dear Mr. Foulk:
The Architectural Committee has approved the application submitted
for the atrium -cover at your Cedar Crest residence. It is
imperative that the drainage from the roof area NOT BE ALTERED in
any way which will create a condition for damage to your home or
the adjoining home. Should this occur, you- will be required to
reimburse the Association and/or your neighbor for any expenses
incurred to,correct such damage.
When an atrium is enclosed and/or screened, routine.maintenance
is a must. Please establish a regular inspection program of the
covering -so all leaves, debris and gravel are removed. This will
help to not impede the drainage, even from rainwater.
We are enclosing a copy of the construction regulations for this
type of improvement. We ask that you give a copy to your contractor
so he and his workmen are aware of the obligations you have to your
neighbors.and the Association.
