Architectural Change Request — Pool, spa and patio decking
Dear Mr. Babich:
The Architectural Committee reviewed and approved your plans for a pool, spa and patio
decking, with the following comment:
• Define the boulder size; the committee is not familiar with "dolly size boulders" as
defined on the drawing. Per the Architectural Rules and Application for Change, page 4
of 20 suites, ...... 918 Inches for ralsed spas, or water fe4atufas, and 24 lncfies for

"Quiet" pumps shall be utilized for all pool and spa installations and shall meet the minimum
requirement of the Industry's "quiet" pump standards.
The contractor shall ensure that the make-up water for the automatic water feed device be
tapped ahead of the main dwelling shutoff. Existing hose bibs cannot be used for this purpose.
Please be reminded that once a homeowner installs custom concrete surfaces, the Association
has no responsibility for maintenance or repairs for such modifications. Per the Architectural
Guidelines, reference page 7, Section 6 — Patio Decking & Patio Extensions, ......."any damage or
change to the aforementioned shall be at the Owner's expense." Damage to upgraded patios
caused by mowing equipment, or otherwise, is the responsibility of the homeowner.
The committee recommends that you review the enclosed spedfications for the PGA West
concrete mix for consideration prior to the installation of your patio decking..

Please contact Luis Umana, Sunshine landscape at 760/396-3999 and Carol Fuller, the
Association Manager, prior to any irrigation modifications associated with this change. Damage
to the landscaping, i.e., shrubs, trees, flowers and turf Is the responsibility of the contractor. The
original landscaping must be brought back to its original condition when the project Is completed
as this t application is approved with the understanding that there will be no additional
landscaping.
Approvals given by the Architectural Committee are good for only six months from the date
on the approval letter. If construction has not commenced within six months after the project
approval date, a new application must be submitted.
