The City of La Quinta is seeking interested citizens to
fiii one vacancy on the Pianning Commission. This
is a five-member commission who serve as an advi-
sory body to the City Council regarding developing
and maintaining the City's general plan, new devel-
opment applications. design review and development
of specific plans and similar planning duties.
Commission members must be residents and regis-
tered voters in the City of La Quinta.
Interested members of the public may contact the
Office of the City Clerk at (760) 777-7f03 for an offi-
cial application and other information or you may
download an application at www la-auinta.org. The
deadline for submitting applications is Friday,
October 26, 2007, at 5:00 PM. The City Council is
expected to consider applications, interview candi-
dates, and make their seiections at their regular
meeting to be held on November 6. 2007.
