January 17, 2008
This meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission was called to order by
Chairman Wilbur at 3: p.m. who asked for the roll call.
I. CALL TO ORDER

Present: Commissioners Puente, Redmon, Wright, and
Chairman Wilbur
Absent: Commissioner Sharp
Staff Present: Planning Manager David Sawyer, Principal
Planner Stan Sawa, and Executive Secretary

IV. CONSENT CALENDAR:
A. It was moved and seconded by Commissioners Redmon/Puente to
approve the minutes of December 6, 2007, as submitted.
Unanimously approved.
V. BUSINESS ITEMS: None
VI. CORRESPONDENCE AND WRITTEN MATERIAL: None
VII. COMMISSIONER ITEMS:
A. Guided Tour of several historic sites and buildings in La Quinta.
1. Principal Planner Stan Sawa gave a brief overview of the tour
for the meeting. Sites included:

2. After returning from the Tour Commission Members briefly
discussed the sites.

There being no further business, it was moved and seconded by
Commissioners Wright/Puente to adjourn this Meeting of the Historic
Preservation Commission to the next Regular Meeting to be held on February
21, 2008. This meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission was
adjourned at 5:02 p.m. Unanimously approved.
