1. The same responsible person may install both the sign lighting power and the sign lighting controls, or a different.responsible
person may install the sign lighting controls than the responsible person installing the sign lighting power.

Dear Mr. Rosenbloom:
The Planning Department has reviewed and approved your request for eight
building -mounted, illuminated channel letter signs, at the La Quinta Carl's Jr.,
located at 78-672 Highway 111 within the 111 La Quinta Shopping Center. The
approval is subject to the following Conditions:
1. 'This sign permit grants eight illuminated permanently mounted building
identification signs and one "star" logo for Carl's Jr. and Green Burrito
restaurants. The star logo shall not exceed seven (7) square feet in area.
2. The "Carl's Jr." sign on the buildings north elevat.iori shall not exceed thirty-
five (35) square feet in area. The sign is permitted to be mounted to a red
colored backer plate and centered on the tower elevation.
3. The "Carl's Jr." sign on the buildings south and west elevations shall not
exceed twenty-six (26) square feet in area. The signs are permitted to be
mounted to a red colored backer plate.
4. The "Carl's Jr." sign on the buildings east elevation shall not exceed thirteen
and a half (13.5) square feet in area. The sign is permitted to be mounted to
a red colored backer plate.
5: A maximum of four, one per building elevation, "Green Burrito" signs are
permitted. Each sign shall not exceed nine (9).square feet in area.
' 6.:,. The signs shall conform to the approved sign .program for the. 1 1 1 La Quirita
shopping center (SA 2002-66.8).
